The Denver Post recently reported an increase of 10.2% in home value in June. The national average of appreciation lies at about half that. This indicates that the Denver Metro Area seems to be on the rise but local real estate professionals are not convinced. They observed a noticeable slowdown in July and August with fewer showings and several price reductions. Zillow and FIndTheHome.com predict that the home value in Denver will decrease soon to about 3.4%. Only time will tell if the market will slow down more.
